Janice is highly deft and accomplished in the skills of corporate, community and interpersonal communications. Her experience encompasses a combination of public relations in business, school and community organizations. She has worked for Hill and Knowlton, Inc., a world-wide public relations firm in New York and Milan, Italy; and in the communications and public relations department of Ernest W. Hahn, Inc., a shopping center developer in El Segundo and San Diego, California.

Janice has extensive experience in community relations within the Manhattan Beach Unified School District and the City of Manhattan Beach. She has served on the Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council, served as volunteer coordinator for two city-wide special elections for school bond measures, Legislative Representative to Sacramento at the elementary, intermediate and high school level, member of the MBUSD Strategic Planning Committee and the District Advisory Council.

She has also served on the Board of Directors for Soroptimist International of Manhattan Beach, an international organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through local, national and international projects.

Janice currently is Vice President and a Director of the Napili Kai Foundation.

Janice and Craig live on Maui and in Manhattan Beach, California. They have three children, Gillian, Matthew and Megan. They were condo owners in Puna Point from 1986-2000 and life members since 1988.
