Jim is the President and Chief Financial Officer of the US operations of GLL Real Estate Partners in San Francisco, California. GLL Real Estate Partners is a commercial real estate asset management group based in Munich, Germany.  Jim has over 30 years of experience in the asset management and development of major commercial properties  and master-planned residential communities. He currently manages the accounting, reporting, treasury, information technology, insurance, and human resources functions for GLL’s $2.0 billion US real estate portfolio. He also is responsible for negotiating the mortgages for
GLL’s thirty US properties.  Prior to joining GLL, Jim served as the Chief Financial Officer of Fremont Properties, the real estate investment management affiliate of the Bechtel Construction Group. He began his career in corporate finance with Exxon Corporation in Houston, Texas. He earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Bucknell University.

Jim and Lynn live in Alameda, California and have two sons, Jim and John. Jim and Lynn first visited Napili Kai in 1988 and have been life members
since 2005.
